The Clery Act has had an immense impact on the increase in transparency and accountability on college and university campuses. Transparent reporting systems are something that simply did not exist before the Clery Act. In a few weeks, Congress will be introducing the Stop Campus Hazing Act, an updated version of the REACH Act. Once passed, hazing will be included in the Clery Act. This legislation has the potential to bring about significant change and set a precedent for consistent, evidence-based approach to hazing prevention nationwide. Clery Center is proud to be a part of this culture shift and eager to do more to foster positive change, and they need your help.

Gary Jr. should be here today celebrating his 35th birthday on Sept. 4th. His permanent absence is a daily reminder to our family of the grave repercussions that hazing can entail. Clery Center's goal is to raise $75,000 this September in honor of National Campus Safety Awareness Month. In honor of Gary Jr.'s 35th birthday, please donate $35 in his memory.
